Outlook on the web (formerly known as Outlook Web App) for Exchange 2016 or later Public folders are available in the following Outlook clients: Users will see the full hierarchy in Outlook, which makes it easy for them to find the content they're interested in. Public folders help make content in a deep hierarchy easier to browse. You can also create a new folder to move or copy to by clicking Create New Folder in the Move to Folder or Copy to Folder window.Public folders are designed for shared access and provide an easy and effective way to collect, organize, and share information with other people in your workgroup or organization. Select the folder that you want to move or copy to, and then click Move or Copy.ģ. A new window will appear that shows the folders that you can move or copy to. Right-click on the folder that you want to move or copy, and then click Move Folder or Copy Folder from the menu. A plus sign will appear next to the pointer as you drag the copy.Ģ. To copy a public folder, hold down the CTRL key as you drag the folder to the location that you want. To move a public folder, drag it to the location that you want.ģ. You can move or copy a public folder by using the following methods.Ģ. Type the new folder name, and then press ENTER. Right-click the public folder that you want to rename, and then click Rename.ģ. Right-click the public folder that you want to delete.Ģ. Note To view your new folder in the public folder list, you may have to refresh your browser.Ģ. Click the type of folder that you want to create.ĥ. Right-click the public folder in which you want to create a new public folder.Ĥ. In the Navigation Pane, click Public Folders to view the list of all public folders that are available to you.Ģ.
